PENGETAHUAN, PERILAKU KEBERSIHAN DIRI DAN PENGOLAHAN JAJANAN SEHAT: SEBUAH STUDI PADA PEDAGANG ASONGAN DI NGAGLIK SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Pedagang asongan memiliki karakteristik beragam baik dari usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan dan perilaku. Perilaku kebersihan diri dan pengolahan jajanan yang baik menjadi jaminan keamanan untuk konsumen. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik, dan mencari hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan, perilaku kebersihan diri dan pengolahan jajanan pedagang asongan. Studi dilaksanakan bulan maret 2020, dengan responden pedagang asongan di Kecamatan Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Studi ini merupakan studi cross sectional. Karakteristik responden diklasifikasikan berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, pendapatan, dan tingkat pendidikan. Variabel pengetahuan, perilaku kebersihan diri dan pengolahan jajanan para pedagang asongan. Responden dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berjumlah 26 orang yang memenuhi kriterian inklusi dan eksklusi. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Fisher’s exact test. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan pengetahuan tentang jajanan sehat berhubungan dengan tingkat pendidikan (p=0,46). Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pedagang asongan disominasi oleh laki-laki (69,23%), tingkat pendidikan menengah (57,7%), pendapatan di bawah upah minimum kabupaten (73,07%). Tingkat pendidikan berhubungan dengan pengetahuan jajanan sehat (p=0,46), tetapi pengetahuan mengenai jajanan sehat, perilaku kebersihan diri dan pengolahan jajanan tidak saling berhubungan (p>0,05). Tingkat pengetahuan tentang jajanan sehat berhubungan dengan tingkat pendidikan, tetapi tingkat pengetahuan tidak berhungungan dengan perilaku kebersihan diri maupun pengolahan jajanan.
