IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM SOLVING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH FISIKA MATEMATIKA MAHASISWA

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of student’s problem solving competency of physical mathematics.

The research method was quasi experimental with one group pre-test-post-test design. The population was all of students in physics study program semester IV STKIP Tapanuli Selatan totalling 12 students and and all of population became sample in this research. The technique of sampling was total sampling. The treatment that was by implementation of problem solving learning.

Based on the data tabulation obtained thenormalized gain for implementation of problem solving learning to student’s problem solving competency was 0,67, it was included in medium category.

Based on the obtained results can be concluded that Implementation of Problem Solving Learning was included in mediumcategory to improve student’s problem solving competency of physical mathematics.
