Abstract

Untuk masa depan yang lebih baik, dunia membutuhkan pemimpin yang tangguh. Hal ini dapat terpenuhi apabila generasi penerus menjalankan pendidikan dengan segenap kemauan dan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini hendak mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor demografi mahasiswa Kampus X dengan pencapaian prestasi akademiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan serangkaian metode yang meliputi kajian pustaka, snowball sampling, survei dengan kuesioner google form, dan berbagai aplikasi social media, serta analisis komparatif dan deskriptif. Melalui riset ini, terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi akademik mahasiswa berdasarkan gender, usia, peran, domisili, cara bertempat tinggal, dan keaktifan berorganisasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi umpan balik yang konstruktif bagi setiap pihak terkait. Pihak universitas dapat memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini dalam mengevaluasi kebijakan yang telah ada dan merumuskan pengelolaan perguruan tinggi yang lebih peduli dengan pertumbuhan karakter bertanggung jawab dan kematangan psikologis para mahasiswanya. Dosen wali dapat memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini dalam memberikan setiap perhatian dan dukungan yang positif secara konsisten bagi pengembangan prestasi akademik para mahasiswanya.
