PENGARUH MEMBACA KRITIS, LITERASI MEDIA, DAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA DI BEKASI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh membaca kritis, literasi media, dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur dengan pengumpulan data melalui tes dan kuesioner. Instrumen variabel berpikir kritis terdiri dari 11 item pernyataan. Instrumen literasi media terdiri dari 16 item pernyataan. Instrumen pembelajaran berbasis masalah terdiri dati 12 item pernyataan. Tes dan kuesioner dilakukan kepada  64 siswa SMAS Labschool Cibubur, 63 orang siswa SMA Yadika 11, dan 73 orang siswa SMAN 7 Bekasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur dengan struktural equation modeling (SEM) yang di analisis dengan AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Semakin tinggi kemampuan membaca kritis siswa maka literasi media akan meningkat. Semakin tinggi membaca kritis maka pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis masalah akan terlaksana dengan baik. Semakin tinggti membaca kritis siswa maka kemampuan berpikit kritis dapat meningkat. Literasi media yang tinggi mengakibatkan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah akan terlaksana dengan baik. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
