Abstract

The objectives of the research are to know whether there is a relationship between the influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in advanced computer accounting courses in the economic education study program, the fourth semester of accounting concentration program, Semester IV of Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan 2020/2021 academic year. This research was conducted by using descriptive correlational method. The population of this study were 24 students of the Accounting Education Concentration Program in Semester IV Economic Education Study Program.  The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and value documentation.  Furthermore, the research data were processed in two stages, namely descriptive analysis and inferential statistics.Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: an overview of Student Motivation for advanced of Computer Accounting Education Concentration Program in Semester IV of Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan is in a very good category with an average  83.  Continuation of the Advanced Computer Accounting courses of the Economic Education Study Program, Semester VI of Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan is good category with an average score of 86.5.  While, the hypothesis test carried out can be seen that the value of thitung is greater than the value of ttabel (12,326 > 2,073).  It means that there is a significant influence between Learning Motivation on Student Learning Outcomes in Advanced Computer Accounting courses of the Economic Education Study Program, Semester IV of Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. Then, based on the results of the determination coefficient test, it is known that learning motivation towards student learning outcomes in the Advanced Computer Accounting courses of the Economic Education Study Program, Semester IV of Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan has an effect of 68.55%.
