PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARANKOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PADA MATERI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK JULU

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using TPS type on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Julu. The research was conducted by using quasi experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 25 students as the sample and they were taken by using purposive sampling technique from 75 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using TPS learning model was 3.26 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development before using TPS type was 60.80 (enough category) and after using TPS type was 79.00 (good category).Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest   and helping SPSS version 20, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using TPS type on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Julu.
