PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR AKTIVITAS SISWA BERBASIS METODE PENEMUAN TERBIMBING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SMP

Abstract

Learning mathematics with student centers is learning that needs to be implemented to improve or increase the quality of mathematics learning and students' mathematical abilities. This learning can provide opportunities for students to build their own knowledge through the process of rediscovering mathematical concepts. This is the basis to develop a Student Work Book (SWB) based on guided discovery method. The purpose of this study was to produce (SWB) based on guided discovery method. The research method was research and development by using 4-D development model; defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The SWB had been designed and validated by experts. Product validity was seen from the results of the validators’ assessment in 4 (four) aspects; didactic , content, language, and appearance aspects. The results of validation I had average 3.6 in  all of aspects with fair valid category. The results of validation II reached average 4.5 in all of aspects with valid category. The assessment practicality of SWB obtained by the overall assessment aspects was 4.5 with practical category. Based on the results of the validation, it could be seen that the SWB-based guided discovery method haf been valid and practical by the validators. It meant that the SWB is feasible or reliable and can be used in the process of learning mathematics in junior high school students.
