Abstract

This study aims to know whether learning based Edmodo able to increase students’ mathematical problem solving at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas. This research was conducted by applying experimental method. Sample of this research is 21 students which taken from by using cluster random sampling technique from 108 students.  Observation and test are used in collecting the data. Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on observation sheet, the used of learning based Edmodo is 3.00 (good category) while   instrument test shows students’ solving problem mathematical before using learning based Edmodo is 64.48 ( enough category)  and after using learning based Edmodo is 81.33 (high category). Furthermore based on pair sample ttest (SPSS 17) shows the significant value is less than 0,005 (0.000<0.005). Classical completeness of 61.10% and g = 0.54 (effective category). It means, learning based Edmodo able to increase students’ mathematical problem solving at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas.
